I have always wanted to be an actor, ever since my first starring role as a Wise Man. I was six. I took to the stage at school, at college and on the amateur circuit during the years I spent earning a living as, amongst other things, an advertising copywriter and a business consultant. During those times I had the good fortune to learn my craft by performing with a company that put on six plays a season in a studio theatre and subsequently in an outdoor theatre company directed by and using professionals.
Since I turned professional I've had the opportunity to work on stage, in front of the camera and the microphone. I've reinforced my training with workshops, master classes and winning a LAMDA Gold Medal. I've also learned the other, non-performance skills of being a professional actor. Like being flexible, being reliable and being observant.
